One of the most outstanding and talented Urals artists, keeper of classical traditions of St-Petersburg fine art school, professor, Honored painter of Russia.
He studied in 1945-1950 in the Art School of Nizhniy Tagil under the tutelage of O.Berngard, G.Patko and V.Krukov. In 1951-1957 he studied in the Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture named after I.Repin in the class of professor B.Yoganson. He followed post-graduates studies in the same Institute in 1957-1960. The member of the Union of Artists since 1960.
Leontiy Zudov was a gifted teacher who trained many successful contemporary artists. Since 1961 he taught in the Art School of Nizhniy Tagil, in 1962-1983 he a full member of the Big Council of fine art and participant in all important art events in the USSR. His works are kept in big national art museums and in private collection in Russia and abroad.
